Jane Chen
Founder & CEO
Jane is the Founder and CEO of Letterly, a company dedicated to empowering education through enhancing literacy skills. Before establishing Letterly, she spent a decade on Wall Street in asset management. Jane is an alumna of Harvard University, where she concentrated in History and was honored as a Blankfein Family Scholar.
Joanna Tan
Partner & COO
Joanna graduated from the Harvard Kennedy School in 2016 with an MPA, alongside degrees from Peking University and Beijing Foreign Studies University. She has worked as a simultaneous interpreter in numerous high-profile international events, including the Beijing Olympic Games.
Ania Alberski, M.S.Ed
Director of Education
Ania is a double graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, with a Master's degree in Education, Culture, & Society and a Bachelor's degree in English & Cognitive Science. Prior to joining Letterly, Ania had worked as a full-time middle school teacher and afterschool program organizer in West Philadelphia.
Sam Benkelman
Partner & Advisor
Sam graduated from Harvard University as a Linguistics concentrator with a secondary in Computer Science. Sam won a Fulbright Fellowship to teach English grammar abroad. He was also a research assistant for Harvard's Linguistics Department and Graduate School of Education.
Sadie Cook
Curriculum Designer & Editor
An artist and writer based in Reykjavik, Sadie graduated from Yale with a BA in art cum laude, with a distinction in the major. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Sadie is also a Fulbright scholar, working with writers and artists of all levels.
Cliff Wheeler
Instructor
A full-time curriculum designer and teacher, Cliff Wheeler stands out for his exceptional track record in the field of ESL (English as a Second Language). Cliff has developed online courses for Pearson Education, serving various colleges in Texas, Indiana, West Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
